Is there a way to get Wi-Fi access on a Red Sea Liveaboard? Do any of the high-end ships have it available on board? Will I need to bring a satellite phone for this?

It depends where the LA is heading to. Internet access can be obtained with some mobile providers through a USB-modem but you have to be in a coverage area for mobiles to benefit from this. In our LA we usually use the etisalat connection, it works well when you are somehow near the coast, around Hurghada and safaga. It works in north trips as well but coverage is not that good in AbuNahas/Gubal areas. Let me know what trip are you heading to and I will try to find out what is the situation there.
