I'm planning a day with a rental car on Coz, for the wife and I to tour the island.

I'm under the impression that the cruise ships are never in port on Sunday's, is this correct?

Is everything else still open like beaches, resturants (both sides), San Gervasio ruins, rental car places etc?

Thanks.

Most times no ships on Sundays. there are special cruises and if there are storms in the eastern Caribbean they go to Coz.
Car rentals, beaches, ruins, are open.
about 75% of shops will be open but close early about 5-PM.
Some restaurants are closed but so many good one on the island no problem.
Every Sunday 7:30- 10PM in the main plaza is live bands and dancing in the street it's a must do!

American car insurance not honored there. Mandatory liability of $11 a day and optional collision for about $25.

Rentaria Isis on 5Th ave north between calle 2&4Th is the best IMO.

If your diving with Christi at Bluextsea I think she can arrange the car rental with her friend at Isis
