Purchased at authorized Suunto retailer. My wife lost the Vyper 2 computer on her first dive with it in Cozumel. So, the cable was never used.

Price reduced to $70 plus shipping.

The Gekko doesn't connect to download info, In think its the only computer from Suunto that doesnt do it.

The Gekko can be connected to a computer. There is software that makes it appear as if it were a Vyper.

So, does this cable fit (2 small prongs)?

Still for sale? Will this connect to the Gekko?

@Kaliber35: No. I don't think you want this one. It will only connect to Vyper2/Cobra2/Vyper Air. There is another version of the cable that connects to Vyper/Mosquito/Cobra/Gekko.

@buitre: It is possible to download dive profile info from a Gekko. It's an unadvertised feature of the computer. If you have a Mac (like Kaliber35), you don't even need to run a script to trick Suunto Dive Manager into thinking that the Gekko is a Vyper. MacDive works with the Gekko...without any software workarounds.

I've used the download cable from my Vyper Air to connect a Vyper. I think that the cables specific for the older models won't work on the newer ones but the reverse isn't true.
