I have a trip over the weekend of July 10/11/12 to Toledo, Oh. It is to attend a friends post wedding gathering -- they eloped. While in this are, which is my first visit to the lakes, I want to see if any good diving opportunities exist? The purpose of the trip is not diving so any opportunities would have to be convienent. Or is this an area that one wants to stay out of the water? I get the impression Toledo is heavy on the lake front industry.
Second question: I am a warm water diver, I own a 3 Mil wetsuit only. What are the water conditions likely to be the second week of July. My guess is this is thick wetsuit territory even in Summer????
