I am going down to Cancun in about 2 weeks and I want to snorkel with whale sharks. I was just wondering if I can expect to get any half decent pictures or will the viz. be too bad?? Also should I use a blue filter on my camera cuz of the water being green or will it matter since I will be on the surface?? I would apreciate any coments or help thank you.

I've no experience with whale sharks or Cancun, but for an idea of what you might expect in the way of viz, etc. you might try looking for videos on Youtube of whale sharks around Cancun.
