I just heard from someone that Sherwood K valves have had either a safety notice or recall on their K valves due to a safety problem with the relief valve (burst disc assy). According to my source, the problem is that the burst assembly nut can cause injury to someone and that the safety notice or recall fix is to place a protective cover over the assembly.
He could not authenticate that claim and I have found nothing on the internet. My local dive shops have not heard this. Is this true? Thanks
