Looking for backups to my wireless dive computer. Any suggestions for dive watch with depth gauge, I would also like a SPG that is inline with the Air2 of my KnightHawk, I don't want any extra hoses. Thanks

Thanks DA Aquamaster June 27th, 2009, 02:03 PM THe SPG will need to be on a high pressure hose, so there is no avoiding an extra hose. In truth, you don't need backup for the wireless SPG, if it quits sending pressure information, you just surface. For a backup for depth and time, just get an Uwatec bottom timer. Thanks At this point, you don't need backups for any of your equipment and should be practicing your gas and dive planning, buddy skills, neutral buoyancy, trim, emergency skills, etc. If your computer fails, just end the dive and surface with your buddy. If your computer fails often enough to be noticeable, it needs service. Terry NorthWoodsDiver June 27th, 2009, 03:18 PM If your diving in open water then just ascend, do your appropriate safety stop which only requires a watch, then surface. If your doing more advanced diving, ditch the sol and sensor IMHO.
