I plan on bringing my soon to be 10 year old grandson to the Keys for his Junior Open water certification dives in November, (better than diving in chicago that time of year).
I am seeking suggestions on dive shops who might have experience with young divers. I am thinking of diving in the Key Largo area. Thanks.

I just had my son 10 YO certified several months back, I will tell you the Keys are were he plans to do dives on Molasses Reef this fall,
But I took him to North Florida cave /Spring country and I know early summer Florida we had the springs most days all to our selves, in fall/winter they do get busy but wow gin clear 72 deg water no blow outs from the winds and nothing to well scare a new diver,,,,At Blue Grotto,Devils Den these springs are not affected by the rains but the drought,,
I had the best instructor for him a 1 on 1 for a great rate referral his pool work and book work done,
His instructor Paul Gore Open water Inst ,Extreme Exposure High Springs @
Extreme Exposure - Home | Extreme Exposure (http://www.extreme-exposure.com)
so if you don't want to spend days waiting for great weather hit the Springs area then the Keys after his cert Molasses Reef,-John Pennekamp state park,
Have a great time!
