I have a week off and would love to get on a sailing/scuba trip. Any suggestions? I have 100 dives but haven't done much in the past few years. I am more of a wildlife/coral diver but have done a few wrecks too.
Thanks!

....be mindful of the fact that Aug/ Sept/ Oct is peak hurricane season (I've had liveaboard trips shortened/cancelled due to hurricanes in the Carribbean.)

1. please fill out your profile - its hard to give recommendations to someone when you don't know where they live or where they have been diving.
2. what price range?
3. what ocean?
4. what do you want to see in particular?
5. traveling alone or with another diver/non-diver?
6. Aug-Oct is hurricane season in Caribbean.

I would like to keep it cheap, less than $1500 not including airfare.
I am traveling alone and was thinking about Greece or someplace different.
Thanks for any help!

I have never even heard of a liveaboard in the Greece area. The closest is maybe the Red Sea where there are quite a few.

There really aren't many liveaboards anywhere for that price. The closest is Blackbeards in the Bahamas which is a small boat with bunkbeds and shared toilets.

next up, a bit more expensive and alot nicer are the Nekton boats. They might have a St.Croix/Puerto Rico area trip for your price. Check their schedule: Nekton Cruises > Home

other than that, I really don't have any warm water recommendations. There are lots of mini-trips, 2-3-4 days, on liveaboards in Calif diving the cold water around the Channel Islands. Awesome diving but the boats are rustic, bunkbeds, shared bathrooms and 30-40 people onboard.
