Do a quick search-This topic has been beaten to death here!;-0

If you do a search & read the 3000 very strong opinions on this, you will still be confused.

Bottom line - What feels right & works for you...
Try to rent/borrow each & then make your own choice.

I use a traditional BCD for recreational Diving it it works a treat
I use a BP for Technical Diving and it also works a treat.

I would not swap their roles.

On the downside (if all settle) , the upcoming threads will not be that interesting anymore...... :D
