I just returned from 10 days on the Naia. It was great.

We boarded Saturday after lunch, did a check out dive about 3 or 4PM.

For the remainder of the trip, four or five dives per day were offered every day,
with the exception of the last Monday before disembarking, the day of a village visit, and a day with tsunami alert. On these days, we got to do only three dives.

I'll post a more complete report in a few days.

Very interested in your report of the conditions. There have been varying reports on the quality of this itinerary. THe boat of course has been above reproach.

Very interested in your weather experience, as it can rain in Fiji. A lot.

Isn't the Naia itinerary pretty much the same as Aggressor's?

I compared the two and didn't notice much difference in the places they dive.

I think the Aggressor sticks to 7 night charters, so it's going to have to be somewhat different than a 10 night.

Shastaman and Damselfish are correct.
Aggressor leaves from Suva. The Naia departs from Lautoka.

With both the seven and ten day trips, there is some overlap in the sites.
However, the boats communicated well with each other (on our trip) to alternate dive times so there's not a mob underwater.

Last trip, November 07, it rained quite a bit and viz was not so good.
This year, October 09, it rained only one day and viz was great.

I highly recommend the 10 day trip.
The dives sites in Bligh Water are awesome and I don't think the Aggressor goes there.
E6, Maytag, Coral Corner - some of the best I've every done.

My full report is posted under Regional Travel/Australia NZ Pacific section/ Pacific Islands.
