Wideangle lens W-20 Threads...

I recently purchased my very first ikelite video case and decided to push it alittle further by buying with it the W-20 wideangle lens.

I did not know that W-20 comes in to versions, the 46mm and the 67mm. and accidentally bought the 46mm threaded one

I have contacted Ikelite and they replied that dealers should supply me with just the backplate with the right threads. So far all dealers I'v contacted could not help me with this and suggest I return the product and buy a replacement.

since I am so far away from any dealer its not really practical to return it as I bought it by mail from the USA.

Any advice? does anyone know of a dealer that sells this particular part? any input is much appreciated.

Unfortunately I'm afraid you won't have any luck finding the part (or a local Ikelite distributor) within Kuwait. You can order the part directly through the office, which shouldn't be too expensive to send via US Mail.

Try contacting us again by e-mail (your previous contact or ikelite@ikelite.com) and ask for product #9306.77.
