Day 3 of diving on the Emeral Coast.

Opted to try out he east end and dove with Dive Locker on the Fintastic today. Capt Keith and mate/DM/dive overseer Joe.

AM dive aboard the Fintastic, dive sites the PCB bridge span and the Red Sea (new artificial reef). After checking in at the shop and grabbing tanks (32%) and weights
for the wife and me and rental gear for my 17 year old, we met the boat about 8:30
and headed out.

Dive #1 - the PCB bridge span (not sure of the specific span.)
Temp 75, viz ~50', no current, flat surface. Dove to 71', total BT 45 minutes.
Strobe for my Sealife DC600 decides not to work - spent some time fiddling with
settings to get some pics. Nice site, I think there is a chance for some nice
macro work here, but without my strobe I'm fairly confined to the shots I can take.
Lots of baitfish here with mackeral on the outskirts.

Next up - the new artificial reef Red Sea, a tug.
Temp 76, viz 50', no current, calm surface. Dove to 71', 50 minutes BT (32%). Figure
out the strobe issue - batteries. Load new cells (thanks to fellow diver) and head
down to the Red Sea (a tug sank approx. 3 weeks prior). Wow - the heaviest cover
of baitfish I've ever seen. Mackeral, AJ's, and remora swimming/feeding on the
edges.
