Gearing up for mini season this year and we are going to go at night. I've been diving for several years and done several night dives before so I am comfortable with the conditions and catching the bugs. As I was checking out my gear I got to thinking that I might be able to attach a light to my snare to allow me to free up my hands while trying to catch the bug. My initial thought was just to use good old duct tape to secure the light to the shaft of the snare. Has anyone done this before or have any other ideas that I can use to free up my hands from the light?

I found that using a mask light that attaches via to mask strap works very well, so when you come upon some bugs, you can set your handheld down and your mask light will give you plenty for light....
