Just checking to see if anyone has been to Martha's this year and what the quarry is like after all the blasting last year.

Martha's is still open although the property dispute is ongoing as of last month. Fred has installed a new access point and part of the underwater area is currently off-limits.

Can you still get to the buildings?

Can you still get to the buildings?
I don't know the current status, but they were in a part of the quarry outside of Fred's control when I was there. I would recommend calling him for current information.

I was hoping / thinking he would get on here to clarify since I'll be there in two weeks, but I looked at his profile, and it hasn't shown any activity since this past Febuary... Let me know if you find anything out.

Yea...I looked at his profile and noticed it had been awhile since he has been on too. It's a shame if the buildings are blocked off.

That's ashame. Because, Fred's seems like a good guy and the quarry is such a fun place to go.

I'm diving there on the 16th and will post what I find afterwards. I spoke to a local dive shop and they seem to think that the whole quarry will be open.

I'm going to Nashville this weekend, and planning on checking it out as well.. Will update if it's worth diving.
