The Tritons, a dive club based in Des Plaines (NW suburb of Chicago) is hosting an Open House on Tuesday, June 24th. Divers and anyone interested in diving are cordially invited and to bring a friend! It's free and reservations are not needed, just show up!
Tritons Open House
Tuesday, June 24, 2003, 7:30 pm
Giuseppes La Cantina Ristorante
1062 Lee Street, Des Plaines, IL
(847) 824-4230
The Tritons have an active schedule of events, including lots of local diving, several traveling dive trips each year, dive training, social events, charitable and community events, etc. Weve been around for 45 years and were recently voted the Club of the Year (again) by the Illinois Council of Skin and Scuba Divers. If youre looking to dive, learn to dive or meet divers, we hope youll take a closer look at the Tritons.
The Tritons provide a setting where new divers just getting started can get training and advice in a non-sales atmosphere (we aren't affiliated with a dive shop) and where seasoned veterans can find other divers to plan unusual and challenging dives to expand their skills with. Although most of the 120+ diver/members are strictly recreational divers, we have a growing contingent of members with technical training and interests, too.
If youve got questions, email membership at thetritons.com or visit our website. It's a fun group of diverse divers - don't let the fact that I belong scare you away.
