Just curious how many of the SB family were at the Treasure hunt in Brighton this past weekend. Weight_for_me and Canuckdiver were there but how many more. Step up and be counted.

Sure wish you had won that pink tank wrap...:D Randy... Don't you mean SPEEDOBABE? Hehehehe. The pink tank wrap is yours Randy. :out: And by the way "I DON'T DO PINK!!!!!!" Depth Gauge June 17th, 2003, 02:15 PM Hey, I was there but missed you Colbaltbabe. Jason cobaltbabe June 17th, 2003, 02:18 PM I would have noticed you Jason. :) cat June 17th, 2003, 02:37 PM I was in Brockville (after spending Saturday in Kingston) - finding out what Doppler considers "An easy peasy Sunday dive" Was fun, though. Umm, pink tank wrap? Did you lose the treasure hunt? Depth Gauge June 17th, 2003, 02:44 PM Hee hee. cobaltbabe June 17th, 2003, 03:52 PM Randy was joking that if he won the pink tank wrap he was going to put it on my tank. I don't do pink. No way no how. No Fish June 18th, 2003, 11:05 PM I am glad I went. Fantastic weather & won some nice Mares Volo fins! It was a very enjoyable day. canuckdiver June 19th, 2003, 09:24 AM LOL, no fish, you were the one that won the volo's? I think you sat right in front of us. No Fish June 19th, 2003, 05:55 PM canuckdiver once bubbled... LOL, no fish, Maybe! We were by the road with a couple dogs, a brown one and one that is mostly beagle. Near a trash can, I think. Yeah, Third prize.....not bad. The funny part was that I forgot my fins and my wife (& dogs) brought them from home. Too bad, it would have been great to meet you. We had quite a few folks from our club. I am interested to try the fins, have you ever tried Volo's? I hear mixed results. cobaltbabe June 19th, 2003, 07:00 PM We were going to have them ask if anyone was there from SB but we decided against it. I wouldn't doubt there were a few more then just the 4 or 5 of us. Groundhog246 June 20th, 2003, 07:41 AM No Fish once bubbled... I am interested to try the fins, have you ever tried Volo's? I hear mixed results. I couldn't go. :( My wife was doing here AOW and our 14 year old his OW (tired of hearing that one yet?) I have a couple of aquaintances who wear Volo's. I'm told they require a different technique. Basically big wide flutters kicks. Adjust your speed by how fast/how many kicks. To go slowly still take big wide kicks, but do them more slowly, instead of shortening the kick as you might with regular fins. I know the one guy I've dove with while he wore Volo's could quickly leave me behind (I wear Quatros) with a couple of fast kicks. Of course, I prefer a frog kick and I'm told you can't do that with Volo's No Fish June 20th, 2003, 09:46 PM Groundhog246 once bubbled... I couldn't go. Well......... I'll find out tomorrow. Thanks for the tip. Maybe I will start a new thread on this when I get back.........
