Hi all!

After diving again in cold deep water in Tobermory, On, I discovered that
my TUSA RS-240 reg simply does not hold up to 1C water. In all fairness,
it is advertised as a 5C reg, so there I go.

So, I was looking into an SR1, or Zeagle 7 Flathead.

Diving last week, a few people had SR1's and one perticular fellow
had violent chattering with his reg outside the water.

It literally sounded like an impact driver putting wheels on a car.

Can anyone from Sherwood explain what that was?

Thanks.

Pierre

That was the Exhaust Valve chattering against the 2nd stage case. I am sure you only heard that at the surface not under water. The SR1 is a high performance reg and doesn't really like be breathed above water. Get it back underwater and that issue goes away.
