I have 2 Uwatec Aladin Pro computers. One is dead and was given to me. The other has less than 40 battery life left. I don't know where I purchased the live one because it was so long ago. Scubapro wants $150.00 to replace the battery which I think is outrageous. What are my options and what would be a comprable computer to the Pro?

The older ones, early 90's are straight forward: unscrew cap - remove battery - desolder - resolder new LR07 battery - replace o-ring - screw cap - done!
You'll need: needle nose pliers - soldering iron - replacement battery and o-ring. I buy them off eBay.
The newer ones, filled with oil, are messier; here's how: mkotva.cz/UW_comp/AAir_x_open_en.htm
Good luck
