I am in the Market for my first set of gear and my instructor is willing to sell me some of his gear, it is a knighthawk BCD and Scubapro MK25/S600 Reg Set. He said i could have all for $700.00 I checked it all out and it looks brand new. He said they swap annually.

What do you guys think, should i buy it?
 
The MK25/S600 is $425 new from Leisurepro with non-manufacturer warranty:

The Knighthawk BC is $450 new from Leisurepro with non-manufacturer warranty:

Scubapro Knighthawk BC, Black

Your instructor's gear will also no longer have the manufacturer's warranty once he transfers ownership, and it has been used for a year, but it's $175 cheaper. Will the instructor's shop warranty the equipment?
