Lionfish sighting....Flower Gardens....West Palm Beach

While bugging today, my dive buddy and I spotted a Lionfish near the Flower Gardens reef off the Breakers.
It was sitting under a ledge at about 70' and there we were with nothing to take it.
DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's not like I was going to try and tickle it into a net...........LOL
Anyway.....they're that far north.
Be on the lookout.

Hello, Who were you diving with? Did you let antone on the boat know about this sighting? There is a group from FAU that will come up and collect it and use it for research.

Buddy have the numbers? Maybe you could give a call to FAU or http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/fl...-lionfish-here-what-reef-org-wants-us-do.html It is really important, if you don't kill 'em, to let someone know where they are.
