recently returned with my buddy al from puerto rico.
he and had no problems with us air out of charlot nc.
after renting a car and driving the length of the island we were greeted by the crew of s/v juliet
Juliet Sailing and Scuba Diving

this grand lady accommondates 12 divers and 5 crew.
the cook was very good at his job.
the crew as a whole did a very good job of taking care of their guest.

the dive deck was in the middle between 2 mast.
entry was done with 6 divers on each side doing the wide stride.
exit was a ladder on the port side which you walk up with fins in hand.
there were 2 dives in the morning, 2 dives after lunch and a night dive.

we dove mona island, monaita island and desecheo.
the quality of the reef was alot better than what i had thought before this trip.
the hard corals were there along with the soft corals and sponges.
the food chain was very well apparent from reef sharks and turtles to the juveniles to the many cleaning stations.

the adverage size of a given fish was also larger.
we saw large angle fish, barracuda, and grouper.
i believe not a great deal of fishing helps with this.

the week following our trip she is going into dry dock for fresh paint and a large amount of preventive maintence.
the next batch of divers will have it good.

all in all my buddy and i had a great trip with fantastic diving.
regards,

A couple I met on the Nekton last week are Juliet fans. He posted some pics of their trip on his profile. I'd love to go. Brian, I can't commit for that far out but if you still have a spot I could commit in March (which is when they approve the next 12 months' vacations).

Indeed we are, Debby, and there are about 50 shots of the Juliet on one of my photo albums for your edification and amusement.:D The boat is a little quirky, as I have said before, but her owner is the captain, and it is obvious that she was designed and maintained with love. The cabins are the most appealing of any liveaboard I have ever been on, for example. Woody
