My wife was nice enough to let me stop in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea for the night on our way home from our honeymoon in the Keys so I could try out the LBTS reef.
So we showed up at 8:30am and parked at Datura Ave. It was partly cloudy, there was little to no current and pretty good visibility, and I had the reef all to myself!
Here are some pictures and videos I took with my new Canon PowerShot SD780IS W/ Canon WP-DC31 Waterproof Case.
Video's:
Activity on the reef
6' Nurse Shark
6' Nurse Shark Pt 2
Sharptail Eel
Here are some pictures, but bear with me cause I'm a rookie and just started UW photography on this trip, and my camera is a little point and shoot.
Here is what most of the 1st reef looks like.
Gray Angelfish
French Angelfish
Scrawled Filefish
Smooth Trunkfish
Trumpetfish
Small Jack of unknown species
Honeycomb Cowfish
Atlantic Spadefish
Seafan
Sharptail Eel
Sharptail Eel
Ballonfish
