I'm a Fish!
I will be in Palma beginning of July and was wondering what are the most exciting dive sites.

I have heard that there is a 3000 year old Phenician Wreck (ALMAGRO or something)/...

I like wrecks, any advise?

el Toro is an interesting site, else you can get that wreck, it's by the harbour of palma. you'll find quite a few dive sites around the west and south coast, for the north coast it's quite choppy but i don't know what it's worth.

There's another place i forget the name, it's a natural reserve and it can be interesting, on the western coast of the island.

I think, you mean the island of Dragonera, milkathecow, this is very nice! The Diving Center there is www.scuba-activa.de, owned by Mathias Günther, a nice guy. This is no advertisment, i just got to know him when i lived in Palma.

By the way, in Palma is a diving center, which may organizes a trip to the wreck in the harbor: www.isurussub.com
Spanish language skills are useful.

Altogether, mallorca isn't famous for his wrecks, but it's a good cave diving spot!

Hello It's all under water for m(e?) or Sam,

Of course i got some more Information, I lived on this island!

The most sympathetic diving center is Barakuda Octopus in Paguera. I'm partial with that since I've worked two seaseons there. Website is: http://www.baracuda-mallorca.de/
Looks a bit poor, but they are really nice!

The best center in the east for me is the allready mentioned one from Mathias Günther. In the west mero diving is quite famous.

Here is a list of some diving centers in whole spain, there you can find some diving centers by name and maybe one, which will be near to your exact destination:

Have a nice trip!
