Hi Butch103,
The diving there tends to get repetious once you do the handful of high spots. Little to do topside (can bone fish, bird watch & see fabulous Androsian cloth being made), and the lush interior breeds lots of insects. It's not my first choice of Bahamian dive venues.
Just two places to stay, the original, funky, friendly Small Hope Bay http://www.smallhope.com/, and a new place up north I have yet to see, Creekside Lodge http://www.dalodge.com/.
Hope this gets you started.
