Anyone up for some gentle diving this weekend?

I am diving with Bay Area Scuba Lovers meet people (The Greater Bay Area Scuba Lovers Meetup (Santa Clara, CA) - Meetup.com (http://www.meetup.com/scubadivers/)) on Sunday.

We will be diving Otters cove (conditions permitting).
If you sign up, then you and I can buddy up!!.

You can always do the underwater Olympics / Fun dive Sunday the 13th at morning start lake. It's a lot closer than Monterey. :D

I could come to Breakwater early Sunday if you want? Can't stay for lunch or anything because I have to be back in SJ by 1 pm to take my son to hockey, but I could put in a couple dives with you. I'll just need to rent tanks so lemme know.

Brad, I don't mind diving with a newbie if you promise not to get lost, I get a little freaked out finding myself alone, it's a buddy sport!
--Oh, but sorry, I can't go on Saturday, my son has a hockey game at 11 till 12 and conditions are usually pretty bad after that time.

I just got off the phone with Glenn's Aquarius II, he says divers are reporting 5-6 feet at the wall. He believes it might be to the warming of things, yesterday was 80 degrees and today right outside the shop it's 85 degrees.

He says, might be silt being pushed around, hey it's still BW and it's an easy dive, go get that drysuit dialed in with the weights. :)

7am is about 2 hours too early for me. I'm coming from Sac so a 7am meetup is a 3:30am wakeup :D Perhaps another time.

Mike Guerrero and I are headed to a 20ft deep sand patch at BW on Saturday to practice some skills & dial in new gear. We will bring video (if vis permits) for instant feedback if desired.

You are welcome to join us. We probably won't go deeper than 20ft, so really it's just practice.

But that might be perfect given that it is your second day in the dry suit ;).

Basically we will go out about 10-20ft and spend lots of bottom time in one place over a sand patch near BW praticing skills. If you are cool with that.

So there will be lots of time to just hang out around buddies and get use to being in the suit. We will all be trying new stuff.

Sounds like what I need for the suit. Shallow so I have to deal with the air expansion and since I normally do photo not moving around is a good thing also :D

Not pink, that's my soft weight belt. Not DIR, but it's girly.
It's black with a red handle, says "Mares" and has a single 6# of soft weight in it.
You shouldn't BA a girl online if you aren't willing to do it in person ;)
