I want to make some of my own accesories (like the tire adapter for your BC hose) but I can't seem to find a cheap place to buy just the male quick disconnect fitting (the side attached to the BC).
Any Help?

If you have an old inflator you can salvage that fitting, but you may need an adaptor to fit your tire inflator if its pipe threaded. Another simple solution is to get a machine thread to pipe thread nipple at a plumbing supply shop and connect your inflator directly your hose but then you cant disconnect it. You can always go to an automotive shop and look in their air tools section too! If you are a hard core scavenger check out some flea markets and garage sales for spare parts and fittings.

www.scubatools.com seem to have a lot of custom tools, gauges, etc that use this type of fitting - try contacting them and see if they sell the components direct.

Leisurepro has the NPT to inflator hose adapters. Std 626 inflator is around $8.00 and SP Air2 version is about $10.00. Get 2 while you are at it and make an IP gauge also.

Check out McMaster-Carr for your fittings, the SP fitting (standard 1/4" NPT) is $8.95 from LP or $.78 or $1.84 (depending on the internal diameter of the fitting, hell buy them both and you'll still come out ahead!) from MC.
