I know this is a scuba board but this course can really help your breathing and fitness to greatly improve your scuba skills.

We are having our 3rd Level II Freediving Course on October 24-27, 2009 at the shop in Jupiter, FL. If you are wanting to improve your current skills, this course is for you. Martin Stepanek recently broke the world record at over 400 feet. He is an incredible instructor and will amaze you with how far you can progress in 4 days. The cost of the course is $850.00 and includes instruction, pool, and 3 boat dives. Here is a short video of our last class to give you an idea of what takes place. Call the shop to reserve your space at 561-575-3483.

I am all for divers being better snorklers. Water confidence keeps the panic factor low. However $850.00 if way too much. Yikes! If this class was to bring me to free diving 65 feet comfortably maybe it would be interesting but just not to me.

Orlando Eric.... I agree that 850.00 for a snorkeling class is way too much. However, this course is designed for those who are already very good snorkelers but want to go to the next level. The average person coming into this class can hold their breath for 1 to 2 minutes and freedive to depths of 30 feet. When they finish the course the average static breath hold is between 3 1/2 to 5 minutes and can freedive to 65 to 100 feet. Again, this course is for those who are serious about improving their freediving skills.
