Finally ordering an enclosure for my Sony Sr12 camcorder. in your opinion why should I buy an Ikelite 6038.94 instead of an Equinox HD6? Many thanks in advance.

While I can't really offer you a comparison I can point out a few key features to our housing for the Sony SR12:

- View of both the camera's viewfinder and the LCD screen.
- Access to all touch pad controls on the LCD, allowing you to set manual white balance, etc.
- Accepts the WP80 Wide Angle Port which is an incredibly sharp, high-quality wide angle lens. While all underwater housings keep your camera waterproof and provide access to camera controls, optics have the biggest effect on the actual quality of your underwater video.
