I'm in a quandry. Is it better to go with custom ground lenses (ie Seavision) or custom bonded prescription inserts when CUSTOM lenses are required?

What are the pros and cons? I have searched without finding a lot of info.

Apparently the Seavision lenses are plastic not glass, so less likely to break, but easier to scratch.

I would think that one piece ground lenses would give a better field of view than inserts. Is that so?

Will watch the replies with interest!
