What do you need 65lbs. of lift for ? If you using twins go with
a backplate, it'll be more stable.

Even the 44lbs. of the Rangers is quite a lot if you're on a single
tank. I've done it, it's a drag. Switched to the 35lbs bladder that's
standard on the Scout & Escape, much better. I only put the 44lbs
on when diving open ocean with lots of currents and/or swells
(like oil rig, where the boat can't anchor) as the pick-up might
be a while and it's enough lift to keep out of the water to my
sternum. Or support my buddy and me if needed.
But the 911's lift seems like overkill unless you use large steel
twins and stages.

That and the website's details aside, every Zeagle i dove was of very high quality, and customer service is very good. :)

Hi there

The reason why Ranger or 911 is i dove allready the 911.

It was easy for me to dive. I had mo problems to hold my position or any like this. Thats the reason for this BC`s.
I dive Steel Tanks...

The question what i have is: does the ranger fit like the 911 or is there a diffrent?? I nerver had a Ranger on. So i have no idea .

See ya

Basically, the 911 is based on the Tech, so it will fit very similar to the plain Tech. Between the two, I'd suggest a tech over a 911, since you could move to doubles with a tech, but not with 911 (according to Zeagle). About the only meaningful difference that I can see with the tech and the 911 is the crotch strap (which you can add).

The differences between the ranger and the tech are mostly in the lift capability (44 vs 65 respectively) and the cummerbund (no elastic in tech). Fit should be pretty similar, but it's impossible to know without trying them on. If you go the Ranger route, you can get a crotch strap and add it to the BC if that's a feature from the 911 that you like.

Personally, for the price, I would probably buy a Ranger, not the LTD. There's not a lot of add-ons that are really nice to have (zipper attachment system, trim pockets, lumbar pad) and it's a reasonable savings over the LTD. Skip the tech and the 911.

I've had a Ranger for about 3 years and the only downside is that it's a lot of BC. If you travel to dive, you might want something that packs a little smaller. I bought an Escape in addition to the Ranger for travel.

Hey
Im using the Ranger for both tek and recriational dives. I can mount on the ranger up to 5 cylenders ( three on the back and two side mount) with double wings of 45 lb. Or, mount a single 7lt tank. U just have to change the stripes holding the tank.

The only major difference between the 911 / tek and the ranger is that in the ranger u have also a velco that holds the bc on the stomack. All the other stuff like extra D rings, bigger blader and more pockets u can add to the ranger.
