Amendments 17A, 17B, & 18 will ban harvest of species included in the Snapper/Grouper Management Group. Some proposals will close all waters from Savannah GA all the way to Altamaha Sound from the 3 mile state boundary to the federal 200 mile limit. Diving activities will be controlled by NOAA.
The Snapper/Grouper complex is composed of the following species-
