I am heading to India in January and am considering a side trip to dive in Goa. Has anyone been there who can offer some advice? Place to stay, dive shop to hook up with, sites to dive.

Any help would be appreciated:dontknow:

I have never known anyone who dived Goa, and the Travelin' Diver's Chapbook from Undercurrent lists nothing at all about India/Goa diving. I'm sure you have been to it already, but here is a website for a Goa dive op. Welcome to GoaDiving (http://www.goadiving.com)

:dork2:Hey, that India is one great place. Sort of reminds me of North Korea.

I learnt to dive at a dive center called Dive Goa ( Dive Goa: PADI Courses and Scuba Diving in Goa, India (http://www.divegoa.com) ) based in Panjim. There are two other dive shops called Barracuda diving and Goa Aquatics. They all conduct PADI certification courses.

Did you end up diving Goa? I'd love to hear about your experience. I'm going to India in November 2010 and will be doing a dive excursion to Netrani (Pigeon Island) with Dive Goa.
