The GBR Marine Park Authority has advised rough dates for this years coral spawning - a one night event that happens only once a year. All the hard coral spawns over one night, and its a sight not to be missed. East coast of Australia from Cairns.
Some day trip companies are running special night trips, and of course the over night boats are filling up too.
If you want to try and see this event the proposed dates are 6 - 8th Decemebr inclusive.
