I've just booked a liveboard in Maldives in mid-December. I've tried to read about what I can expect to see in Maldives at this time of year, but I've read a lot of different information, especially about mantas and whale sharks.

So, does anyone have experience with regards to what I actually can expect to see of "interesting" stuff?

With interesting I mean mostly big stuff like manta, whale shark, other shark speices, turtles, dolpines, or whatever which is amazing to see :p

It depends very much where, which part of the Maldives you will be doing your dives.

Most of the Liveaboards start the cruise from North Male' Atoll.
To make it very short.
If you are coming on a liveaboard during december, you have very good chances of seeing
whale-sharks,Mantas,sharks,Turtles etc... Just bring some luck with you :)

Cheers
