Question about Flying after Diving

I am looking to do some island hopping in Hawaii in April. Do I need to wait 24 hours after diving to take a flight between the islands? Is there some sort of calculation to safely calculate dive/flight time?

Try Divers Alert Network for some really good answers to your question. Since you didn't say how much and how deep you were diving, it is hard to answer. A dive computer with a flying feature will give you an indication as well.

It depends on how deep, long, and amount of diving you're going to do. In general, you should wait at least 12 hours, although some will say 18-24 hours. However, depending on the flights, and the altitude of those flights, you can also refer to this table:
