Exotic Instructor Institute
Here is a chance for your Divemasters to become Instructors. During one full week in April 2010, we will be offering both Assistant Instructor and Instructor Courses and Certifications on the beautiful island of Andros. We will utilize the facilities of the International Field Studies, Forfar Training Center. Participants are to arrive in Ft. Lauderdale the evening of April 9, and stay in a hotel, flying out early on the 10th. The course will start at noon on the 10th and run through the 16th, returning on the chartered plane early on the 17th.
Here is an estimate of the costs:
Ft Lauderdale room, flights from Ft Laud. to Andros, return, housing, meals: $950.
All books and certification fees for SEI Diving Instructor: $600
For additional IANTD Instructor second certification add $400
I suggest that you look at the IFS web site if interested. Scuba instruction is only one of the programs being offered there year-around. Andy Silverman and Tom Leaird will be the Instructor Trainers. Home . This is a tremendous opportunity to experience this - the first in a series of programs at that location - and at a price that is well below what is currently available in the Florida Keys.
