Thinking of a liveaboard in 2010 in the Maldives. It will be our first time both in the Maldives and on a liveaboard. Looking for something small, very dive oriented, stable and "nice". We are photographers spending last few dive vacations muck diving in Lembeh and now looking for the blue water experience. Thanks in advance for info and advice! Cheers!!

I'd suggest that small and stable are mutually exclusive.

To give scale, my experience is 100 feet long is about reasonable size and stability. You'll still get significant movement even at that. Not having been there, I believe it is more open ocean than amongst islands. If that is true, you definitely want something of size.

It will have little effect on the ability to access dive sites as you anchor and then the skiffs take you to the sites.
