Sherwood Computer Interface update problem for Wisdom 2

I am experiencing a problem when I install the most recent update for the Sherwood Computer Interface for the Wisdom 2.

My OS is Windows 7 Professional x64. I am currently using version 2.1.0.beta.0.7 without any major issues.

When running the auto update wizard it suggests updating to version 2.1.0.beta.0.9. This update downloads and installs without issue. When restarting after the update is finished I experience a blue screen every time I restart. I am unable to boot into safe mode either. I did a system restore to the point where I installed the software update and everything works as it did before.

Is this an issue others are experiencing with this particular update or isolated to me? Any guidance is appreciated.

This is the only case I have heard of.

First, uninstall the software.
Second, turn off your virus and spyware scanners
Third, reinstall with administrator rights.

Let me make sure I understand your directions exactly.

1 - Uninstall the software program completely

2 - Download from Sherwood and install again with anti-virus off

3 - Download the appropriate update and install with anti-virus off

If I uninstall the program will that delete my dive log as well?
