I would like to know if anyone has dove on the B-29 that is in lake mead. Its well beyond recreational limits so I would expect it to be a trimix dive. What I want to know is if you have dove on it what is the exact location? Did it require a special permit from the parks service?

For those of you that don't know about it

I am a goo friend of one of the finders of the bomber and they are now in a legal battle over ownership, when the water level is low it is resonably shallow 150' but because of the legal battle it is closed off to dives, so get a scooter and an insperation and you can dive it,. From what I hear it is somwhat intacts, engines fallen off, but still looks like it would be fun.

I thought that the ownership was with the park service. Are they trying to salvage it?
