Padi,Rescue diver course prequisites question

Im wanting to take my rescue diver course and then move on to divemaster, but I'm wondering if to take the course, if I need 5 specialty courses before taking the course or If my AOW is enough which would mean that try wouldn't be specialties? I know I need current first aid and CPR such as emergancy first responder course, which I intend to take, thanks for taking the time to read and respond guys, I'm super excited to move outta the world of basic diving and towards my career!

From Rescue Diver Primary and Secondary Care Courses - PADI Scuba Diving Training Organization

Prerequisites
To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must

Be 15 years or older
Have a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)
Be trained and current for first aid and CPR within the previous two years (Ask your instructor about Emergency First Response CPR and first aid courses).

No specialties are required.

For Rescue you only need AOW, not any specialties.

Thanks so much guys, want sure if dive shop guy was trying to make me spend more at one time or not, as my last instructor said, diving should be about diving!! Thanks for ur help guys

The five specialties the dive shop guy mentioned are most likely relating to Master Scuba Diver, which follows Rescue Diver in the recreational diving progression.
