Has anyone dived Northern Mozambique??

What's the best time of year to be there?

Where are the best spots to dive?

Are there any operators providing guides and equiptment?

And how much are we talking per dive or package?

I hear there are more Whale Sharks in the water around October time than you can shake a stick at!!

Many Thanks,

DM

I have only been in Southern Moz, Ponta Do Ouro/Ponta Malongane/Ponta Mamoli.

Have a look at :

www.diveafrica.com
www.mozambiquetourism.co.za
www.marlinlodge.co.za
www.sadiving.com

We usually go in winter (May-August), but make at least one trip between Oct and Dec for the Whale Sharks.

Dive prices vary from ZAR130-00/dive to as much as ZA800-00/dive depending on the operator.
Typically the operators catering for South Africans are much less expensive than the operators catering for other tourists.
Most of these operators also have accomodation/dive packages but I do not know the detail as we usually arrange our own accomodation.
