need help with pc download on insight

tried using my instructors cable/software to download my insight dives to my computer(vista) and my girlfreinds computer (xp) didnt work

then i tried downloading the drivers for the insight off the sherwood sight and it still didnt work... someone please help me take it step by step so the thing will work
