Ft. Myers

Coming to the Ft. Myers area in August with extended family. I need some information on the best area or shop or boat to allow me to finish certifying a couple for Open Water Divers and a couple of Advanced Open Water. They will be renting equipment but should not be needing any pool time. We will be renting a house on the beach but am unsure of the logistics at that area as far as shore diving.

I did my checkout dives through that shop. Great guys there. Tell him Ivan from MN sent you.
For the open water dives we went to Pompano beach. I am sure there are other options as well. Diving on the East coast there is much better than in the Gulf.

The Gulf is very shallow and not very good on viz which means no shore diving around Ft Myers...check out this previous thread on the local diving:
