I think the only difference is that the Tec can be paired to three transmitters rather than one

I assume they're cheap because they've been superceded by the Galileos
 
Thanks, Tortuga. Still a worthy piece to pick up at that price though? I am a recreational but avid diver, at least when it gets warmer out here to where these crappy lakes are worth it haha (currently in central TX)
 
Anyone else before I jump on it? And yeah, looks like the main difference is the Tec is compatible with multiple transmitters and you can change gasses on a deco stop.
