Apeks Quantum PCLogBook on Windows 7

I'm moving from Windows XP to Windows 7 and having problems with the PCLogBook application, specifically with the download cable. Windows 7 cannot find a driver for it.

I checked on the Apeks website and there is a new version of the application called DiveLogBook. I tried to install it, but it fails with the error Component not correctly registered.

Anyone know a solution to either of these problems? I unfortunately picked Home Premium so I cannot resort to virtual Windows XP mode.

I don't know about Windows 7, but there are USB drivers available for download from the TUSA web site for computer software for their dive computers.

I suspect the Apeks Divelogbook software and the TUSA Divelogbook software are very similar, just as their prior PC Logbook software was. Anyway, might be worth a try, no cost to download the drivers at the TUSA site.
