I like to give props on here to businesses and people who do things well so....

I just returned from a few days in the Similan National Park on the Manta Queen II. I booked through Steven with Thailand Liveaboards - Liveaboard diving Similans and Phuket Thailand with Thailand Liveaboards (thailand-scuba.com) to Similans Koh Bon Koh Tachai Richelieu Rock and South Andaman - homepage. I have nothing but good things to say about him as communication was always prompt and helpful. The trip and price was exactly as promised. If/when I head back there I will use him again.

The Manta Queen II was also top notch keeping in mind it is a budget boat. The bed was great, the food just fine, and every fill well above 200 bar. The trip leader, Pino, and his crew (both expats and Thai) were fun, safety conscious, and professional. Like any liveaboard there were divers of different abilities, and they did an excellent job of ensuring everyone dived in a group that matched their experience level. To me that is huge! If you are looking for a fancy-pants/luxury boat then you are going to have to spend a bit more, but for the money I thought the Manta Queen II was great.

I've always said Steven is awesome........finally someone agrees with me :D
