Drove up to Manatee Springs State Park this past Sunday. With storms forecast for the afternoon, I was surprised at the number of divers that were there. Manatee Spring was roped off and closed to diving because a couple of manatees were still hanging around so that left Catfish Hotel as the only option for us "non-cave" types. When we got in the water, only four others had made it in before us so it wasn't too bad. Unfortunately, it got crowded real quick and along with more divers came reduced vis. We only did one dive since we wanted to get home and clean all the duckweed off our gear before the storms hit.
