I'm looking to buy some rental gear for the challenging conditions in the Galapagos. I only dive Apollo Bio fins so am clueless about other fins. Had to buy some rental fins last year and went with Mares Avanti III. No one complained, but no one said anything positive either. Mares Excel+ looks interesting, but then I'm partial to the comfort of a rubber foot. Anyone have any recommendations for a quality fin that doesn't break the bank? Anyone like any Aqualung or Tilos fins?
