Am planning to head to the Keys in late October early November. How is the diving then?

I've also visited several times these months of the year. Water temps generally low 80s in Oct, high 70's in Nov with air temps low to mid 80s. Very uncrowded with kids in school and before Thanksgiving and Winter breaks. Great time to visit, but then again, when isn't?

Good diving, Craig

I agree with the others, October has the best lodging prices, the least crowds and typically good diving conditions. Just be aware it's still hurricane season and any storm within 1200-1500 miles could significantly impact your vacation. If it's been an active hurricane season, buy trip insurance before you leave the house :)
That being said, our chances of having calm weather are better in October than they are in say January through March.
